Remember, please make sure that your meal can feed at least five people since many families may have a visiting step-child or an unexpected dinner guest.

Email ingredients and preparation details to MealSwap@comcast.net in order Kelly to prepare freezer labels for all the meals.

Bring your meals in disposable containers and if possible, separate bags to make the trip home easier.

Guidelines for Meal Swap

1) Choose a different category each month and stick with it please. First come, first serve.

2) Keep in mind these meals will need to survive freezing and re-heating and should be able to feed at least five people per meal.

3) Put together an interesting meal and be creative!! Each meal should consist of an entree and at lease two sides. Lasagna would be great if accompanied by a salad bag and a loaf of fresh Italian bread to put in the freezer. If making chili, why not throw in a bag of tortilla chips, a container of sour cream and a bag of shredded cheese to go with it?

3) Forward your dish recipe with ingredients and preparation instructions to Kelly within 24 hours of the next scheduled swap in order for her to prepare the labels.

4) Remember to bring separate meals for each participant to the swap. Kelly will label your meals for distribution.

5) ENJOY!!!

6) After the swap let us know what you thought of your meals in the FEEDBACK request post that will follow every swap. Were the portions large enough to feed your family? Were you pleased with the taste? Did anyone in your family encounter any illnesses after eating a meal?
